Tablerunner: A Finish

When I took this pic I still had to bind this runner, but I wanted to get a picture before the sun went down. Since then I've finished it and it is already adorning our big, long, dark, empty table.

This was a "quilt as you go" sort of thing, but I didn't use a pattern or anything. I just made it up as I went along....anyone surprised? I seem to do some of my best work with I'm just winging it. I'm mostly excited because it is finished.

Tomorrow, we are going to start work on our barn...not sure how much energy will be left for sewing, photos, blogging, cooking, etc....If you don't hear from me for awhile it is because I'm too pooped to pop.
