Every year I grow jalapenos and generally they do really well. Most years I freeze, can, pickle, and jelly them, but find that I rarely use them straight from the garden.
This year I discovered that I could stuff them, wrap them, and bake them and I'll admit we keep running out of bacon. I'm totally addicted.
I'm claiming this as a "recipe"
1. cut out a thin slice of your pepper (this makes a little boat)
2. scrape out the seeds and membranes
3. stuff with cream cheese
4. wrap with bacon and secure with a toothpick
5. bake at 400 for 30 minutes (I've heard tell most folks put these on the grill).
6. Enjoy!
