Sunday Gratitude

Waiting for the sun to burn off the fog and the temperature to go up, I decided to doodle a gratitude page. I fashioned it after Violette's. http://http://www.violettesfolkart.com/blog.html

While it is only 41 degrees right now the forecast is for upper 60s and the sun just peeked out about half an hour ago. Sunshine made the #1 spot on my list of things for which I am grateful. Sunshine, Chai tea, birdsong, dogs, and family.

I try to remind myself to be grateful for the little things. Cold or not, I'm heading outside to feel the sun on my face.

SShhh, this is what I do at work.

Yeah, I doodled a self-portrait today at work. My students were mostly working, I gave instructions and support; however, I had a lot of idle time on my hands and I doodled a bit. I hate my job, I'm glad that I both created something today and I felt relatively happy too. (I'm kind of happy with this photo too)!
