I have thus far only completed two blocks as shown before....each has 36 tiny squares in them. I will need 1008 tiny squares total and have cut, as of today, 379. YIKES.I am loving the hand piecing (though I haven't spend much time at it....too many other things going on). There is something so simple and meditative about silently stitching.
It is bedtime now and I am ready to hit the hay, but tomorrow morning when the sun is streaming in the big windows I will sit in my comfy chair with a cup of chai and stitch in the hour before I go to work...now that is something to look forward to.....sweet dreams.
