I just read an article on NPR called "The Ugly Truth about Food Waste in America."
Some stats: Americans waste 33 millions tons of food a year, 40% of food goes uneaten, this amounts to $165 Billion each year in WASTE.
Arrrrgggghhhh, I hate WASTE. Hate it.
So, I challenge you to make your kitchen a "no-waste" kitchen.
Be thinking about it....I can't stand the thought of throwing good food and good money away. I'm thinking recipes and menus and prizes!
