Belated Solstice

I noticed coming from work that it wasn't quite as dark tonight as it was last week. I love that about Solstice...the turning of the tide, so to speak. Knowing that the sun will be out longer and longer makes my heart sing and pushes the blues just a little farther away from me, though they are still present and acknowledged.

I've worked three long days and find myself utterly exhausted, thus no posting. This is the first night I've come home and turned on the computer...sitting is pure heaven after being on my feet all day. I still hope to post every day and maybe that will happen in the New Year, but I won't beat myself up for not writing...I beat myself up far too much as it is.

Of course, I can't really think straight being as tired as I am and don't have much to say....if you celebrate Christmas then I hope it is merry...We celebrate Solstice and some random day that we pick arbitrarily is our family celebration and both of those are behind me and I feel the next four days that I am off work opening before me...opening up to endless possibilities.

Hopefully that includes tons of rest.

I'm all for Blogging Without Obligation! lol

I'm looking forward to these longer days, more outside time.

Oh, yes. Tons of rest!!! Tons and tons. I hope to shake this fatigue I've been battling with for weeks now.
